Hi Martin, this is for a great cause. How are the preparations going? Is your body playing along? Maybe next year I can attempt this as well.

Thanks man. It’s getting pretty tricky. Over the last week I’ve got really tired. Final long run (16km) tomorrow and then it tapers to the race day. So hoping I can regain some strength by then.

That is positive mate, first goal is to cover the distance. What is your average time per km? What are you aiming for?

Aiming for under 2 hrs. My app says I can do 1hr 45 mins but not so sure!

Incredible target to set yourself Martin. Running the actual event is one of the most exhilarating, cathartic and inspiring moments you could wish for - pro runner, amateur walker and everyone in between. That day’s going to feel so sweet!
