Great tips! My team takes two 10-min breaks every day: 10am & 2pm. We also do a daily silly quiz and go to lunch every Friday to the same Pho spot. It's so important to foster those relationships. We work harder for each other because we also keep each other sane. I wish more work places were like this. Definitely going to be checking out your newsletter recs. Thanks!
It's important to get ready for a change. My husband has been working at his current company for 7 years. Because the place turned out to be quite toxic, over the last months he's been talking about wanting to go somewhere else but was afraid to make that move. He has built some resilience over the years, but it came from within and definitely wasn't something his organization promoted.
Maybe the resilience is now hindering him making the move?
You can get in the position of almost being a martyr to show that you have enough resilience to survive a situation but maybe forget that you can walk away.
In the past I’ve found applying and even interviewing for another job can broaden my horizons and show that I can do things other than the job I’m doing.

Love it. Fun is such an important attribute of a team.
These are all good reminders. Change is inevitable. You can't stop it.
